Ensure the operational integration and effective delivery of the infrastructure and applications components for Global Function Business Critical landscapes. The scope includes: 1. Be accountable for the End-to-end (E2E) KPIs for the service delivery of the Shell Global Function Business Critical Landscape (as per ESM version 2), and liaise with Component Service Manager (CSM) for infrastructure components and SOM/OLM for application components for delivery performance of their respective components and any necessary Return-to-green (RTG). 2. Be accountable to ensure Service Level compliance of Business Critical (BC) Landscapes, recovery of the service and structural improvements for maximum availability of component landscapes. This consists of ensuring that proper DRPs are available and tested, component landscape KPIs are being met or Return-to- Green actions are in place, and end-to-end integration exists between application and infrastructure components (including E2E KPIs). 3. Be responsible for the identification of systemic issues on BC Landscapes and drive structural improvements, balancing costs with business value, supporting the SOM in optimizing landscape TCO. The CSM and OLM will agree with the CLM actions, Return to Green Plans, and if needed structural improvements, accountability remains with the CLM whilst the responsibility for delivery is with the OLM/CSM. 4. Ensure effective Situation Management as well as the service restoration (during Situations) of Business Critical Landscapes. 5. Be the escalation point for urgent operational issues, the CLM can contact directly (or be contacted by) any of the service providers, either Shell or external.

Woring on Systemic issues for IT Infrastructure.Working closely with the Downstream BIM and BAM teams to minimise disruption to the complex IT infrastructure.Managing so called Go-to-Green programmes. Led a team of Europe regional Technical User Support engineers supporting the Subsurface and Geoscience user community.Ensure day to day operations of the Subsurface Computing Environment.Working closely with the Infrastructure supplier and Application support teams to provide best in class support to the community.In the early days my team was also responsible for the running of the Unix and Linux helpdesk globally. After a time it was outsourced to Malaysia. Was heavily involved in the successful transition of the already structured support model.
