Management of team that assists Mainline Sales & Management Team with Special Bid planning and preparation including VAE selections; review promotions and overall pricing strategy with Mainline Account Executives; assist with compliance review preparation; resolve issues as it pertains to IBM decisions; educate and promote Account Executives in good opportunity development in customer projects; assist Account Executives in strategic positioning in IBM competitive situations; and assist with analysis of special bids and VAE’s. Summary reports to management will include; Special Bid analysis, including win/loss, certification reviews and ODP reviews.

Strategize with account executives the development of a technology solution in the best pricing and marketing position. This includes the knowledge and utilization of IBM promotions. Review and manage the process of attaining special pricing for the solution. Developing analytical information of the pricing department in quarterly performance reports and analysis summary that includes pricing trends. Resolve and support Value Add Enhancement issues required in selling IBM solutions. Insure the pricing department is performing efficiently.
