Worked 2 days a week to manage all the IT functions for a 90 person company

Staged, built, and tested large high end video systems based on a Windows 2000 Domain with DNS. System supports dozens of redundant simultaneous inputs and outputs. Systems supports 4 complete NLE editing systems and a customized TCP/IP stack that allows for the continuous large block transfers required for real time video.Staged built and tested systems in configurations ranging from 1 to 20 racks.

Responsible for CVS source code control, Cross platform builds on Wintel Solaris and Linux using Visual studio on Wintel hardware and Gnu toolsetsfor Solaris and Linux and InstallShield multiplatform 4.5.1.* Replaced two full time release engineers* Re-designed build system from over 130 Korn shell scripts to 12.* Builds went from over 4 hours to under 1 hour while component counts increased.* Set up redundant hardware to perform daily release and debug builds on multiple branches & trunk on multiple platforms.* Implemented backups where every daily build is burned onto DVD for permanent archives
