Setup of software upgrades, schedules & patch releases with support teams & vendors for Velocloud, TAO, DNFVi & UCord's, ensuring other estate compatibility were ensured for Azure & Data Centre consolidation. SLA & RCA management & ITIL definitions maintained for customer approvals. Daily interaction with VCO Orchestrator, ServiceNow & Support groups incl. Legal, Project Mgt, Finance, Sales, Service Del & Ass.

Managing a client base of global customers, delivering network solutions including data and voice services including Managed Routers, VPN, GIS Voice and Managed Satellite services. The Satellite infrastructure was built from scratch with a internal team of 5 of us which took 6 months to place into production for a new AT&T service which served the sub-African continent (west coast) where we were unable to actively serve customers on the AT&T land network. Handling all type of service components and production from network management, third party licencing, sun spot activity schedules, customer Stewardship, service line profit and loss, product improvements and maintenance, server processing and capacity and overall product ownership.

One of Four Managers working 7 x 24 shifts managing 60 staff over 4 sites (GCSC in Redditch, IT Manufacturing Centre onsite at Land Rover, Longbridge and Payroll & NHS Data Processing Centre in Redditch). Providing objectives and performance management for staff, covering for staff shortages in media/tape processing centre, IBM Mainframe/AS400 group, Network Monitoring Centre, NHS Group, Payroll Centre. Single Point of Contact on shift when IT issues caused customer impact which required immediate callout and attendance to customer site with associated IT support for resolution (ie. Land Rover tracks stop causing car transporters to stack up on Lode Lane with police escorts). Highly stressful job but fantastic opportunity for a wealth of personal skills and technical understanding of the IT world for customers!
