I’m leading the stakeholder engagement and Extension component for a Global Livestock Feed Ration and methane reduction project running in Asia and Africa. The project is a funded by the Global Methane Hub.

I work with organizations to evaluate performance and options, develop strategies, translate Ag science into action and develop effective delivery and scaling approaches. Together, we work to identify needs, and evaluate practical impactful technical solutions. I draw on my strong track record in International Ag Research and Extension, ICT4D, and Climate Smart Agriculture - working with groups such as the Guyana government, BIID, Digital Green and USDA.Example accomplishments:• Designed and deployed extension approaches for a more significant impact at the national and local levels.• Defining organizational strategies for climate change and Climate Smart Ag

In this position, I successfully delivered multiple impactful programs, including youth development, community nutrition, food systems, natural resource education, policy, and volunteer management, and safe pest management.Here are some of my key contributions: • Modified institute's online learning and development site to build institutional capacity.• Retained continuous development and change management by developing, setting, and achieving more precise goals and building capacity.• Fostered positive change in communities across the state through efficient management of 5 UC ANR strategic initiatives and the 12 statewide programs.

In my previous role, I delivered exceptional support to poor farmers by establishing and directing three online knowledge banks to provide credible practical information. I maintained successful delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion across South and Central America, Africa, and Asia. I acquired resources for efficient change and development in multiple countries.Here are some of my key achievements:• Received multiple promotions to Assistant Director, International Programs Office.• Optimized smallholder farmers' access to credible, practical, and relevant information by designing new approaches (ASK ME) and ICT4D online tools (e-Afghan Ag and e-China Apple).• Recognized UC Davis as a premier International Agriculture Training and Exchange provider by raising partner effectiveness through programs and materials.• Increased program effectiveness and impact by improving packaging and delivery of practical along with providing detailed demand-driven information for the USAID-funded Hort CRSP.• Improved professional capacity of fellows from around the world as part of a nine-month program at UC Davis.• Identified and met international program needs by increasing the capacity of national programs.

Strengthened research-extension linkages and built the Rice Knowledge Bank - the premier rice knowledge repository to deliver credible, practical and relevant recommendations to help rice produces globally. Strengthened regional capacity as a trainer and as the head of training to better develop and deliver technologies to help poor farmers.Demonstrated my flexibility by acting as Head of IRRI's Ag Engineering to oversee a successful re-visioning process. Managed the institute's country offices for effective in-country engagement and support.

Modernized and enhanced the efficiency of research support. Developed capacity to better link science with field application in farmer's fields. Initiated work that led to the Rice Knowledge Bank - delivering credible, practical, and relevant information to help rice farmers throughout the world.
