Mark Bellissimo is the founder, managing partner, and largest shareholder of a series of business entities focused on real estate, construction, commerce, and sports management (entertainment/lifestyle),- Real Estate: Bellissimo manages entities which own over 2,000 acres of real estate in Florida and North Carolina with both residential and commercial entitlements. • Construction: Buildz LLC located in Forest City, NC was founded in 2017 and is a new generation manufacturer of sustainable volumetric modular structures for residential and commercial real estate including lodging, multi-family, single family, hospitality, senior care and campus housing. The factory utilizes a continuous process flow production line in its 230,000 sq. ft. facility. Buildz custom software creates resource management, architectural design, procurement, manufacturing, and scheduling functions that instantaneously drive an automated manufacturing process that leverages over 100 robots, dozens of inventory staging areas, materials gantries, in-line saws/drills, thousands of feet of automated conveyors, robotic routers, automated fastening devices, laser measuring devices, cranes, and QA cameras all connected by thousands of process controls and sensors and driven by its proprietary cloud-based software. Touchstone, LLC is a manufacturer of custom cabinets, furniture, countertops, and doors operating in a 200,000 sqft plant in Rutherfordton. • Commerce: Owner of Connectz LLC a workflow based construction management, commerce, and communications software. • Sports Management: Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC (ESP), founded in 2006, is the world’s largest equestrian sports management company centered around the love of horses and the equestrian lifestyle. ESP owns and operates the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (FL) and the Global Dressage Festival. In 2021, Bellissimo sold majority interests in ESP to Global Equestrian Group/Waterland Private Equity but maintained a minority interest. In 2022, Bellissimo sold the 248 acre International Polo Club (FL) and related real estate to the United States Polo Association. In 2023, Bellissimo created Wellington Lifestyle Partners which is a partnership with the Nexus Luxury Collection (Joe Louis, Tiger Woods, Justin Timberlake, Ernie Els, and Chris Anand) and Jeff Skoll, former EBay President, to develop approximately 600 acres of residential and commercial real estate in Wellington Florida. Bellissimo is also the managing partner of Tryon Equestrian Partners which owns the 1600 acre Tryon Resort (NC).
