Property Services Programme & Cost Manager
Responsible for the Campus Development team in Property Services.
Project Manager
My role at PCM involved front end Project Management, including a client rep role on a church extension in Takanini, Auckland, front end planning for the future Pan Pacific Hub in Hamilton and being part of the team that worked on the future Te Awa Lakes Project in Hamilton.
Project Manager
Construction Project Manager
Since April 2016 I progressed from my Site Management role on the Rototuna Junior High School into a Project Manager role on the Rototuna Senior High School (30M) followed by the Rototuna Indoor Recreation Centre (8M). Continuing from the Rototuna Senior School, which was successfully handed over in January 2017 we were able to continue the relationships developed, to include a further client, Hamilton City Council, with expert input from Sport Waikato provided. It was a privilege to be involved with yet another exciting project on the Rototuna High Schools Site. The build was a huge success with us handing over, on time in mid June 2017.The role of Construction Project Manager made me accountable for leading projects from the approved concept design phase to construction delivery. I was therefore responsible for overall project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with high quality standards.
Site Manager
As a Site Manger in Arrow International I have had the pleasure of successfully handing over the Golden Sands Primary, Papamoa, (2.5M) on time and within budget. Through the efforts of a successful team we managed to provide savings on this project. Golden Sands has just achieved a 5 Green Star ratingOn completion of Golden Sands I moved my focus to Te Puke High School (14M). Again we were able to offer saving which was implemented into further works on the Project. Both Golden Sands and Te Puke High were a huge success for Arrow International. Following Golden Sands and Te Puke I moved focus to Glenn Innes, Auckland to assist in working on my third D&B GMP School, TKKM Puau (7.1M). This project had previously had its difficulties but after introducing a strong, new team we were able to complete the project to the contractual deadline. This project is currently applying for a 5 Green Star rating. In late 2014 I moved back to Hamilton to work on the new Life Fitness headquarters Development. I was very passionate about this project as I had been involved in the pricing and planning of the project in the Tender stage. This provided a rare opportunity for me to Plan, Price, Procure & complete the project from the initial commencement. This project suited Arrow International immensely as we have worked with the Client from Developed Design all the way through handover. In Early 2015 I started as the Interiors / Services Site Manager on the Rototuna Junior High School (30M). This project’s requested handover deadlines were said to not be possible. We proved this statement wrong with successfully handing over all the Junior High School separable portions on time, with the last portion in late April 2016.
