I am passionate about the medical profession. I am a Family Physician. The thought of impacting the care and development across familial generations, cradle to grave, was attractive to me at a young age. I have delivered babies that grew into adulthood, provided care for their babies, and influenced healthcare decisions made by their grandparents. Relationships earned throughout the years allowed me "adopted status" into many families, often in homes made up of diverse cultures, economic status, and lifestyles. In this way I often earned the right to speak positively into many lives. In family medicine I never found a single day to be boring. The variety, broad scope, complexity, and true art combined with the science, has created a learning mindset that has carried over to all other areas of my life. This experience and approach continues to positively influence my role as leader of clinicians, clinical practices, and medical operating models.
