Over 24 years management experience in Facilities and Building Management gained at Hammond Suddards a commercial law firm, ISS Facility Services working at PwC, Cushman & Wakefield as Lead Facilities Manager and Sullivan & Cromwell, also NEBOSH qualified. As Facilities Manager at Sullivan & Cromwell, I manage the day-to-day Facilities and building operations in our London office to ensure delivery of all facilities management services to provide the best possible working environment for staff in line with global standards. Based on site five days per week, I act as the key point of contact for all allocated service suppliers; with a full understanding of contractual obligations for the delivery of all Facilities related services. I apply the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 within the workplace and complete Integrated Management System Audits. Experienced in implementing disaster recovery plans and follow up post event, and refurbishments. During the Covid pandemic, I created our first Covid-19 risk assessment, identifying the hazards and evaluating the risks to staff, visitors and other non-employee building staff. In line with the opportunities made by the Department for Health and Social Care, I registered our London office as a testing centre, enabling staff to have lateral flow tests with the results being logged to support the Test and Trace process along with the continued growth of our control measures. Trained in the safe use and application of pesticides/biocides through fogging systems. With a full understanding of the Biocide Regulations and the Control of Pesticides Regulations. I manage the Permit to Work process and arrange for Contractors to be accompanied as necessary while also carrying out regular inspections of office space to ensure correct standards are maintained and that the offices are compliant with Health & Safety legislation. I also manage the space planning and internal office moves, the smooth delivery of internal and external repairs, waste, cleaning and security contracts, lift maintenance, gas, water and electrical utilities, maintenance and engineering, flowers, pest control, office costs, fire safety, water hygiene and health, safety and the environment.I am also a registered professional pest control technician, which over the years has enabled me to speed up the process with our pest control companies in dealing with related issues.On most weekends, outside of work, I enjoy exploring the waterways and shorelines kayaking. I also have a keen interest in mental health, work life balance and wellness.
