I managed a team of 30 Control Technicians during the B1561 and VBO outages resulting in all of the electrical scope being carried out on time and incident free.Upon completion of Nuclear Power School in November I will be taking on the role of Outage Coordinator responsible for the Control Maintenance scope in the upcoming B1681 outage.I regularly observe and coach my team and colleagues to ensure compliance with procedural use and adherance as well as improving safety and quality standards. I am one of the leads responsible for delivering the Bruce Power 2015 Managing Defences initiative.

I was the lead FTL responsible for the installation phase of the Bruce B EPG2 controls upgrade.This 4 month project was carried out on plan and within budget with zero accidents or first aid events.I promoted the use of the Request For Information (RFI) process to drive ownership and accountability throughout the project team.I worked with the station Work Management departments to improve the way PMC integrates within the Work Management process as well as improving communication between PMC and WM.

Served as the project controls lead for monitoring scope, cost, and schedule on large-scale engineering and construction projects spanning many technical disciplines in the Standby Power portfolio.Produce comprehensive Project Plans including resource loaded project schedules, estimates, risk logs and support packages. Facilitation, development and maintenance of project plans of appropriate design and detail to suit the individual project/program needs and the needs of the corporation. Providing analysis and recommendations on cost and scheduling problems, such as the impact on allocation of resources associated with achievement of project/program milestones. Maintaining a working knowledge of Project Management, Contract Management, Procurement Management, Engineering Change Control and associated quality management programs. Performing cost performance analysis, and risk analysis, and making effective recommendations as to the optimal cost and effective manner of achieving project results.

This resulted in a further reduction in the defects to less than 1000 as well as better control over all backlogs.• I have driven changes to both the preparation and execution stages of the work management process within Work Management.• I have carried out training across all departments involved with the Management of work process to enable this process to become more efficient.
