I managed a team of 30 Control Technicians during the B1561 and VBO outages resulting in all of the electrical scope being carried out on time and incident free.Upon completion of Nuclear Power School in November I will be taking on the role of Outage Coordinator responsible for the Control Maintenance scope in the upcoming B1681 outage.I regularly observe and coach my team and colleagues to ensure compliance with procedural use and adherance as well as improving safety and quality standards. I am one of the leads responsible for delivering the Bruce Power 2015 Managing Defences initiative.
I was the lead FTL responsible for the installation phase of the Bruce B EPG2 controls upgrade.This 4 month project was carried out on plan and within budget with zero accidents or first aid events.I promoted the use of the Request For Information (RFI) process to drive ownership and accountability throughout the project team.I worked with the station Work Management departments to improve the way PMC integrates within the Work Management process as well as improving communication between PMC and WM.
