Having worked in various roles over the years within the Europe Middle East & Africa & Asia Pacific Service department I have built up a variety of skills and knowledge of the security industry. I relocated to Singapore in January 2019 with my family and spent 3 years there, which was great exposure to a different lifestyle and culture. Having recently relocated back home my current position at Rapiscan is Service Operations Director based in the UK.

To supervise the day to day operation of the Service Contracts and Administration teams within the EMEA Service Department. Reviewing and streamlining processes through Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft CRM. In addition I was responsible for invoicing monthly contract SLA to meet departmental budget/forecast requirements. This covered various product types within Rapiscan, including inter-company transactions between different business regions (U.S/Middle East/UK & EU). Other responsibilities included settings up short/long term Service hire requests, invoicing time & material jobs to customers, processing Field Service Engineer overtime/standby and renewing Service Contracts on our ERP.This role gave me a strong understanding of deferring revenue over a given period, reversing transactions (including inventory cost and consumption) and general ledger entries. By exposing myself into different SLA requirements and regions it allowed me to ascertain a better overview of the advantages and disadvantages of currency exchange rates.
