You will rarely see me at a desk for the whole day. I will always visit the "coal face" to ensure a collective understanding of product performance based on sound physics. I always search for the critical problems and look them in the eye. I have created successful product development processes based on sound system engineering which have been implemented worldwide. I have introduced and operated under ISO9000, TS16949, ISO13485 and ATEX. I am always a champion of continuous improvement using best practice tools and techniques. I create best practice Validation Processes using Statistical techniques such as Confidence and Reliability Growth, Weibull analysis, FMEA, PFMEA, FRACAS.I integrate technology. Automating tests and measurement using state of the art electronics and Labview(in fact there is little that I cannot do with Labview!). I have worked extensively with Reliasoft Inc. using Weibull++, XFRACS, XFMEA, Alta and Crow AMSA. I have integrated QA Assistant Studio, XFMEA, Jira and Confluence into our Engineering Quality Management system to provide risk based focus of product development tasks and to provide measures of performance on new product development.I have spent a lot of time lately with my team saving the world building an innovative reactor to fix CO2 from land fill gas and power station flues. Our machine can be used by many medium to large companies to help reduce carbon emissions and provide Nesquehonite for use in fire retardant building materials.In my spare time I organise Paragliding Accuracy in the UK, I am a Technical advisor to the World governing body and I go Angling.
