MassEdCO is the Commonwealth's largest community-based provider of education and career readiness services for low income, first generation college bound youth and adults.

As a consumer advocate in the higher education industry, my focus has included promoting user-friendly, online tools and publications for students and their families to use when searching for a college as a good 'financial fit.'​ These include innovative financial aid comparison tools and four editions of 'Paying for College: Before, During and After.'

As CEO of the former Colleges of Worcester Consortium, my role was to oversee the two divisions which comprised the Consortium: 1) shared academic and administrative services for the twelve college and university members, which included some 35,000+ students and 16,000 faculty and staff; and 2) a statewide network of TRIO and GEAR UP programs which annually serves some 14,000 low income, first generation middle and high school students and adults.In 2013, in partnership with the Board of Directors, I guided the legal separation of these two divisions. The statewide network of programs maintained the corporate entity and has been renamed Massachusetts Education and Career Opportunities, Inc. (MassEdCO). Member services for the colleges and universities has established a new 501(c)3 nonprofit and has been renamed Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts (HECCMA).I continue to serve as the President of the Board for MassEdCO.

Served as a member of the President’s Cabinet and as Secretary to the Board of Trustees; directed government and community relations, institutional marketing strategies and community partnerships.
