Plumbing supervisor for facilities operation of Naval Health Clinic Charleston. Review and schedule preventative maintenance, work requests, and work orders. Perform routine inspections of property and plant systems. Ensure appropriately detailed records and documentation. Critical responsibilities include:− Direction and oversight of major projects (list of medical facilities, campus and multi-residential, municipal, and infrastructure projects via resume), encompassing planning, organizing and control of jobs with contract values ranging from $200 thousand to $18 million.− Comprehensive knowledge of complex central plant systems for multi-building campus and residential environments, medical facilities, public services, and private enterprise. − Supervision of up to 45 employees or subcontractors, including as applicable hiring, training (including safety), task assignment, performance evaluation and termination.− Planning and scheduling of work, crafting of rolling schedules, coordination of multiple subcontractors and trades, employing critical path and other means to meet key deadlines.− Construction job walks, plan take-offs, estimating and pricing; design build (see first project, resume); inspections of completed work.− Compliance with local, state and federal codes; assurance of OSHA, environmental and site safety; adherence to company and contracting authority policy and procedure.− Documentation and reporting to include schedules of values, job reports, daily schedules, payroll reporting, schedule look aheads, work-in-progress, including both narrative and statistical reporting.− Communication (oral, written), lead / conduct a variety of meetings, preparation and delivery of presentations encompassing contract status, coordination of work, addressing competing priorities, safety, etc.− Develop collaborative working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, to include contracting authorities, representative school districts, engineering and architectural firms, vendors, sub-contractors, and other constituencies.− Management of job site material, including ordering, receipt, storage and distribution.Request resume for project list.
