In my role as director, I aim to take the industrial cooling division forward in order to become the most trusted solutions provider in the UK. The industrial cooling team will strive to build world-class relationships with top clients for the benefit of the group and stakeholders alike, by maintaining our high standards and first-class engineering solutions, and integrating in such a way that Costain becomes the foundation stone of industrial cooling.We continue to have the highest health and safety standards in our industry and constantly strive to improve, with in-house and external training modules to continually raise competency throughout the team.Reducing the environmental impact at Costain is also at the top of the agenda. By focusing on waste segregation and minimising air pollution through changing fleet vehicles to electric and installing solar panels, we hope to significantly reduce our impact on the planet in line with the government’s targets to reach net zero by 2050.

This role saw me improve the operational systems, processes and policies in line with the organisation’s mission – specifically, supporting better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning.
