•Simcorp Dimension architect and developer tasked with designing and creating automated solutions for back and middle office workflows and their integration into the BNP Paribas worldwide application infrastructure.•Member of a small team selected to collaborate with Simcorp to design the Dimension "go to market" platform for BNP Asset Services in the US. This select group was responsible for identifying gaps in the Janus-built Dimension instance and design a new Dimension instance that took full advantage of all current Dimension functionality and would integrate seamlessly into BNP global systems and workflows.•Designed and assisted with development of the BNP back office asset servicing workflows using the ActiveBatch enterprise automation tool as part of a BNP application rehosting initiative in 2020.•Lead project manager and Dimension architect for the "40 Act Interest and Amortization Redesign" project in 2018-2019. Worked directly with Simcorp to develop the required 40 Act functionality for proper interest and amortization booking in Dimension while at Janus.•Played various integral roles in 2 major Simcorp Dimension upgrades.•BNP's US representative at the 2018 Simcorp International User Community Meeting (IUCM) in Milan, Italy.

•Designed and developed the majority of the Crystal reporting currently used in the Simcorp Dimension implementation at Janus.•Worked directly with Simcorp to design and build a native workflow for properly accruing income and amortization on 40 Act Mutual Funds within Simcorp Dimension (released in Dimension v6.0).•Currently provide technology and investment accounting process expertise with respect to the Simcorp Dimension accounting platform and the entire Janus operations daily cycle.•Design, develop, integrate and track technology and process enhancements to numerous applications critical to the daily operations workflows.•Develop metrics and reporting to track accuracy and efficiency gains of completed projects.•Lead cross functional teams from IT and Accounting to accomplish larger scale business driven initiatives such as accounting system upgrades, implementation of new security and account types, in-kind transaction processing, etc.•Major contributor to a cross departmental effort that increased Janus’ on-time NAV delivery metric from roughly 17% to over 95% in 2013. Create multi-year technology strategies for the Janus investment accounting operations group using the Simcorp Dimension platform and other attached systems. Manage a team of full time and contract employees responsible for execution of technology development project plans as well as day to day system support. Led a large scale post-implementation project to optimize our accounting platform configuration which included the integration of SWIFT message functionality for automated custody reconciliations and cash settlement.Created and maintained business metrics to quantify technology project achievements and track overall operational effectiveness. Also created automated reporting and data extracts used to compile and present metrics data.Created and maintained 200+ crystal reports currently used in all cycles of the mutual fund operations including fund accounting, security operations, fund tax, financial reporting, and JCG board and trustee reporting.99.97% NAV accuracy and NAV’s Calculated per Fund Accounting staff increased 86.8% during this timeframe.Technology tools/platforms include Simcorp Dimension, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, SS&C Recon, Bloomberg, Charles River and FundSuite. Also responsible for SAS70 audit support, disaster recovery planning/testing, and technical training.

Managed up to 30 fund accounting supervisors, senior accountants, and fund accountants.Oversight of the daily NAV calculations, monthly reporting, financial reporting and external/internal audit cyclesAssumed several key roles in the multi-year implementation of the SIMCORP Dimension investment accounting platform while managing the entire fund accounting operations group.Created an automated processes for calculation of fund performance fees, compilation and distribution of cash flow reporting to Janus executives, 99.91% NAV accuracy and NAV’s Calculated per Fund Accounting staff increased 70% during this timeframe.

Managed a team of 6 responsible for the daily valuation and reporting for ~20 registered products.Created an automated process for processing in-kind redemptions from the mutual funds.

Administrator for a 50+ user, multi-location, citrix based computer network. Supported multi-user configurations of varous audit, and tax accounting software platforms and Microsoft Exchange email. Also participated in varous accounting systems consulting projects for clients.

Managed a group of 4-7 accountants and senior accountants responsible for the accounting and daily valuation of up to 25 registered and non-registered investment products. Played key roles in a major accounting system conversion project. Also responsible for creating an implementing numerous smaller technology enhancements to the investment accounting operations process, post-implementation.
