Under the title of Help Desk Specialist, my role is to perform daily troubleshooting with our stores with all Point of Sale equipment, including pc's, ,monitors, printers and credit card terminals. I am responsible for tier 1 level support for store network equipment such as firewalls, routers, modems and phone lines. For any network or phone line issues that cannot be resolved under normal conditions, I am tasked with creating trouble tickets with companies such as AT&T, Granite and Point Broadband in order to resolve the location's Internet service issues. As a Help Desk Specialist, I am also responsible for coordinating with other departments at our support center such as our Loyalty/Marketing department for store promotions, Retail Pricing department to ensure new product has been added to the appropriate Point of Sale and WIC database, and with our store pharmacy departments for any Point of Sale issue, any network connection issue and with any prescription software related issues, such as completing and submitting prescription claims to insurance companies.

As a Video Department manager, I was in charge of overseeing receiving and categorizing inventory for product that consisted of various selection of movies, video games for multiple consoles and grocery related items that were sold in the department. As the department manager, I would also be the point of contact for any customer concerns and complaints regarding any and all products that was sold or rented within the department.

I began working for K-VA-T Food Stores on June 22, 2006 as a front end clerk that was responsible for assisting in bagging customers orders and cleaning duties. I would also work as a cashier and completed TIPS training course, which allowed me to approve the purchase of alcohol related products. I was promoted to the position of Front End Manager in 2011. As a Front End Manager, I was tasked with counting and balancing all register tills, safe counts and inventory, and keeping record of any overages and shortages for register tills. I would also be tasked with overseeing daily operations for cashiers and baggers, as well as any customer needs such as money orders, check cashing and product returns.I would also work in the store's video department when extra help was required until I was promoted to Video Department Manager in June of 2013.

As a grocery associate, I was tasked with keeping product organized for all departments, and for stocking grocery, dairy, frozen and produce department. I would also be tasked with maintaining cleanliness for all departments and personal use facilities.
