Mark began his career in finance in Belgium and has over 34 years of experience working at 3M, he gained a wealth of industry and company-specific knowledge to enhance business development and operational management.  During his career he worked in different disciplines and also got the opportunity of working and living in different parts of the world. The different disciplines Mark worked in are in Finance, Sourcing, IT, Lean Six Sigma (he is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt), Manufacturing and Business. Due to his different roles, Mark got an opportunity to work in different countries which are Benelux, USA, all of Central East Europe and Middle East and Africa. He did live in a couple of countries as well, e.g. Benelux, Russian Federation, United Arabic Emirates, Poland.  In addition to his professional experience, he likes to work as a coach/mentor and develop people based on his personal experiences. He is also interested in cultural differences and tries to learn himself when being exposed to new cultures and values.Mark Blondeel is responsible for the overall operations of 3M in Saudi Arabia and will lead 3M’s strategic plans to invest in the country following the trading license which was received from the government.
