So, to make things more interesting I am going to highlight personal and top-five life truths of successful technology projects: 1) Boring over flashy. 2) Senior stakeholders should only be involved when absolutely necessary. 3) They're a marathon not a sprint; the tortoise will beat the hare. 4) The implementation partner should be escalating and raising more risks than the client. 5) Lack of project management vigour is the poison by which your project will slowly die.Having work in the legal technology space for 7+ years as a consultant, project manager, and commercial Director, I have learned these truths through trial an error (painful error). However, sticking to them and making them a core part of my team’s project delivery has lead to great success stories. I fully stand by them and welcome a debate on their order or relevance. I will even take suggestions to add more.
