Whilst managing all of ASE's New Business Portfolio, I’m responsible for a team of up to 30 people, with 2 direct Managers looking after this wider team, covering everything that creates a customer centric approach. The customer is at the heart of everything I believe in, I operate a Service Delivery team liaising directly with the clients, a Service Build team that is responsible for concentrating on the specification, organisation and configuration of new work along with the support of existing contracts and a Service Desk team looking after the client queries at the front end.My primary focus is the management of all new business projects, ensuring the specification, planning and delivery to customers is smooth and within budget. Working with Brand Directors and Country managers from all our offices around the world, balancing new work, change requests and monthly budgets to make sure the Service Delivery team is performing against expectations, while always trying to have the capacity to deliver against new targets. Reporting to the Operations Director to ensure resource planning can be forecast 6-12 months in advance, I have recently implemented dashboard metrics through Power BI on our internal Project system, which delivers profitability, capacity, analysis on projects and much more in real time to mobile platforms, all of which helps the Business to strategically plan and grow.Reporting is what ASE do, and the team of people I have managed have moved our reports and our technologies from Excel based templates using VBA and direct SQL, through to Crystal Reports, and now SSRS with Power BI, which is enabling us to stand out from the competitors. The newer technologies are exciting, but I have to ensure that requirements are collected accurately and relayed onto the business in both plain English at a high level to management and key stakeholders, and in technical detail to those helping to code and deliver the reporting solutions.
