Ik schrijf young adult boeken (o.a. Winnen van de Wereld, Lemniscaat), geef trainingen toekomstdenken, en ben medeoprichter van Teachers for Climate en Schrijvers voor Toekomst. Ik werkte 24 jaar lang als docent theater in het VO en gebruik die ervaring met veel plezier in docententrainingen (o.a. Nederlandse Academie voor Duurzaam Onderwijs) en in workshops rondom mijn boeken (o.a. De Schrijverscentrale). In lezingen pleit ik voor het omarmen van de benodigde duurzame omwenteling en voor hoopvol onderwijzen in transitievaardigheden. Verhalen spelen in al mijn werk een grote rol. Verhalen kunnen verbeelden hoe een gewenste toekomst eruit ziet en hoe we daar kunnen komen. Verhalen zetten idealen om in een weg vooruit.
