I am currently employed to develop and manage the drawing work undertaken by White Young Green’s London offices, ensuring that sufficient resources are available to deliver projects to time, quality and budget. Part of my time is spent draughting, co-ordinating and checking mechanical and electrical building services layouts in AutoCAD 2007. I utilise my 17 years CAD experience to develop the CAD systems and train the CAD technicians. I have experience of working in many different sectors of the industry, including Healthcare, Commercial, Residential, Education, Hotels, Science and Town centres, for many prestigious clients such as The Royal Albert Hall, Medway Hospital, Crown House Engineering, Balfour Kilpatrick and Glaxo Smithkline. A lot of the projects I have worked on utilise information portals such as 4projects, Business Collaborator and BIW.I am responsible for the day to day management of the Windows XP/2000 server network, installing, integrating and maintaining all PC’s and software used by employees and providing Windows XP network administration, PC technical support and training. Other responsibilities I hold include; Office Health and Safety Co-ordinator responsible for all related issues. Office Intranet Representative charged with overseeing any issues relating to the White Young Green intranet. I am also a trained first aider and fire warden.

Working on AutoCAD release 11 in both UNIX and Windows with customised menu’s. Draughting electrical & mechanical fire alarm & emergency voice evacuation systems, including architectural, Inergen, schematics and detail drawings. Liasing with site personnel, on site surveying and producing graphical representation of fire alarm systems as part of pull down computer graphics system. Instructing and training of junior CAD technicans.

Feltham

Draughting of buildings, equipment, standard components and pipework layouts, for fixed gaseous fire extinguishing systems using Halon 1301, 1211, CO2, Wet Chemical and dry powder. Drawings drawn on AutoCAD release 10 & 11 and completed to a deadline. Duties include the running of two drawing offices (Feltham & Manchester) and instructing junior CAD technicians.Other responsibilities within the company included:BS 5750 Document Controller - responsible for the issue of controlled and uncontrolled documents to both office based & site personnel.
