About Mark Bower
I have over 25 years in the furniture industry as a craftsman, leader, coordinator, Product Engineer, and safety and quality compliance manager in both small scale and large commercial furniture manufacturing and retail operations. As a product engineer I have been involved in developing new and custom furniture for residential and commercial markets. As a consumer product compliance manager I coordinate voluntary and regulatory testing with international and domestic factory teams as well as participate in industry standards committees and organizations. I am passionate about furniture, travel, music, animals, giving back to my community and spending time with my family. Outside of work I am a dad, husband, custom furniture craftsman, beekeeper, chicken wrangler, avid DIYer, novice welder and recreational auto mechanic.
