Mark A. Boyer – Bio1331 West Ridge WayAshland, NE 68003Mark holds a real estate brokers license in the state of Nebraska. Originally licensed in 1977, Mark sold real estate during his years at the University of Nebraska at Omaha “UNO” while playing football. Mark married Renee’ in 1977 his wife of 45 years and began his real estate business full time. Mark has two grown married children that live in Gretna, NE.During his real estate career, Mark along with a partner of 21 years founded Boyer Young Development Company (BYD) in Omaha NE. in 1999. They grew their company into one of the largest real estate development companies in the greater Omaha area. BYD purchased farm ground around the Omaha area to develop residential subdivisions. BYD developed over 15 subdivisions featuring over 5,000 home sites. In 2002 BYD started a title and escrow company “Premier Land Title and Escrow” where they marketed title insurance and escrow closing services to home owners, investors, lenders, agents and builders. In 2007 BYD started a residential building company called “The Home Company”. During that time they built several hundred homes over the years in the subdivisions owned by BYD. In 2018, Mark sold the businesses discussed above to Hubbell Real Estate Company of Des Moines IA. The sale included over 1,000 home sites in addition to homes under construction and the title company. Mark entered into a two year consulting agreement with Hubbell to insure a seamless ownership transition. Through Boyer Realty LLC, Mark retained partial ownership in: Iron Horse Golf Course located in Ashland, NE including 60 home sites; two hotels, a large RV Park located south of Bellevue, NE, along with a number of single family rental properties. In 2021 Mark partnered with his good friend of 20 years Jerry Banks creating “B Squared LLC” to acquire investment properties that meets their investment criteria.Currently Mark is enjoying managing his investment portfolio, playing a little golf with his friends and family, reading and entertaining his 10 grandchildren at his family’s lake house.
