I am a "people person" and strive towards daily interaction with others. Whether those interactions be with business prospects or my friends and family, a day without personal interaction is non-fulfilling. After graduating California State University San Marcos I decided to pursue a career path in sales. My first venture into the sales industry was with SEO Experts Inc.My position with SEO Experts involved prospecting, website examination, keyword research, cold-calling/contacting business owners and/or sales managers, performing a search engine optimization consultation with those individuals and closing the sale. I excelled at client acquisition and maintained a growth rate of 20% annually. My next sales and consulting position was with Ashford University/Bridgepoint Education. My daily responsibilities with Ashford University involved making 100+ cold calls per day, speaking with prospects, determining their higher education pursuits and needs and getting them enrolled in the online collegiate programs offered by Ashford University. I voluntarily resigned from Ashford University’s Enrollment Department. During my 2+ years of employment I concluded that an online degree was not, in my opinion, a "real world experience" education. Therefore, I concluded my employment with Ashford University. Since that time I have been working for both of my brothers businesses on a contract basis. His two businesses include; Gravity Boarding Co. and EV West. I have worked in a variety of positions for both businesses including, but not limited to; product fabrication, shipping and receiving, trade show/event marketing and sales, inside and outside new account sales and existing account management.And, lastly, I thrive on learning new things and overcoming new challenges. Without having new information being regularly learned and new challenges to overcome, life becomes boring to me. I’ve got to go now, time to get my daily dose of mental and physical action!
