Thrilled to be rejoining TC Energy in this important role engaging early and often with potentially affected Indigenous groups to understand their interests, identify opportunities, respond to their concerns and facilitate participation in TC Energy operations and projects in southern Ontario.

Established the ministry's first-ever emergency management program; developed and maintained relationships with Indigenous partners on a broad range of socio-economic development initiatives and coordinated the ministry's strategy and participation at federal/provincial/territorial/Indigenous forums and meetings.Through an approved leave of absence I was able to pursue temporary opportunities at the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Ministry of Mines in 2012-13 and TransCanada Corporation in 2014-16.

Led a team in the development and implementation of an Indigenous engagement and consultation program. Collaborated with First Nations on community engagement and funding agreements that resulted in the regulatory approval of approximately $600 million in natural gas pipeline and compressor station capital projects in Ontario.

Ring of Fire Secretariat - Led the coordination across provincial ministries on the design and implementation of a regional negotiation framework between Ontario and the Matawa Tribal Council for proposed mining development in the Ring of Fire.

As Senior Manager, I managed a team responsible for delivering the ministry's emergency management program for Ontario's health care sector. As the Senior Policy Consultant, I led the development and implementation of the Ontario Health Plan for an Influenza Pandemic and Radiation Health Response Plan. A key highlight was collaborating with the federal government and Chiefs of Ontario to develop Canada’s first tripartite influenza pandemic response plan for First Nations in Ontario.
