Hyperbaric tie-in was carried out utilising Pipeline Repair Services (PRS) equipment. Marathon Oil Norge AS (MONAS) – Alvheim Starboard Thruster Replacement ProjectResponsible for all the technical facets (including diving) and limited commercial issues associated with the removal of the starboard thruster onboard the Alvheim FPSO. Claimed to be the world’s first thruster replacement with the FPSO still producing.
