Global Flying Insurance services was established in 1996 as an underwriting agency specializing in loss of licence insurance and related products to protect commercial aviation pilots against the financial consequences of losing their medical certificate to fly due to injury or illness. Hiscox was the lead Lloyd’s insurer for six years prior to acquiring the business.
