Compliance is at the heart of a fire protection business - whether it is the company’s own compliance with legislation, regulation or industry defined standards and guidelines, or the services and products provided to its customers to enable them to comply with those same duties with confidence and commercial security.My role centres on embedding a group-wide foundation for all aspects of quality, health & safety, environment, including training and compliance to external legislation, regulations, standards, and guidelines.This strategic leadership role involves communicating responsibilities, training, facilitating, and encouraging the implementation of processes and actions around them; and providing the visibility and feedback processes to make them effective and consistent.I represent LS UK Fire Group Limited on the Extinguishing Council of the FIA (Fire Industry Association); Also, within the FIA, I am Chair of the Extinguisher Manufacturers Technical Committee, and a member of the Portables Servicing Committee, Environmental Working Group, Li-ion Battery SIG, and Liaison Group.I also have the privilege of sitting on the BSI Technical Committee FSH/2 which is responsible for all portable fire extinguisher standards within the UK; together with active involvement in the writing of British Standards and BAFE Schemes (British Approvals for Fire Equipment).

I oversee the management systems for quality, environment and health & safety within sixteen companies of LS UK Fire Group Limited owned by London Security Plc (which includes Nu-swift International Limited).I also train all group fire extinguisher technicians and manage the monitoring processes to ensure adherence to our ISO registrations.I represent LS UK Fire Group Limited on the Extinguishing Council of the FIA (Fire Industry Association); Also, within the FIA, I'm Chairman of the Extinguisher Manufacturers Technical Committee, and a member of the Portables Servicing Committee and Liaison Committee.In addition, I am actively involved in the writing of a number of British Standards and BAFE Schemes (British Approvals for Fire Equipment).I also have the privilege of sitting on the BSI Technical Committee FSH/2 which is responsible for all portable fire extinguisher standards within the UK
