As the founder of Global Transportation Management, LLC in the year 2006, I had the sole responsibility of building, developing and growing GTM into a global freight forwarding company. From 2006-2011 I built a foundation and environment which accelerated our growth. The increased growth took GTM from a small freight forwarding company into a medium size forwarder, offering door to door transportation services to over 137 countries around the world. In 2011, I sold half the company to a new business partner, ( Deshler Group / GTM Investment Holdings) to sustain and grow the Brand of GTM. I'm happy to report, GTM has grown from just over 1 million in sales, to over 18 million, as we approach our 13th year in business.

I was responsible for building a new automotive division, including all sales activities, within the UTI Detroit operations. I was responsible for over 40 staff, within the office and warehouse operations. I moved UTI from a 30,000 Square Foot facility, into an 80,000 Square Foot facility, within one year. I had direct responsibilities for two major automotive customers, Autoliv North America and Ford Motor. I helped generate over 5 million in new automotive sales , while improving the overall cost efficiencies of the entire branch.

I was responsible for helping to develop and market an ocean services product around the world for BAX global. We had to develop direct ocean carrier relationships for both FCL cargos, as well as, LCL products. I was responsible for the hiring of top quality ocean services employees to provide our ocean customers with the best in class service available in the market. I was also responsible for the development of the Automotive ocean product, including warehousing and distribution. I took the Midwest ocean service product from zero dollars annually, to over 500,000 monthly within the first 1 1/2 years of operation.

As Branch Manager / Sales Manager, at Lep International ( Now known as Agility), I had full P & L responsibilities for both operations and sales. On the operational side, I managed a staff exceeding 25 people, on the sales side, I manage a 3 person sales staff. These responsibilities included managing day to day operations, while motivating, managing and generating sales. I took this branch from a loss of over 1 millions dollars annually to 100% turnaround to where the branch was producing a millions dollars in EBITD annually.

I was responsible for the sales an representation of 7 different cargo steamship lines, sailing throughout the world. I managed a 3 state territory, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. My responsibilities included the management of existing major accounts and the development of new business. I managed a total of 2 million in sales and grew my sales territory to revenues of over 6 million, in 2 1/2 years.
