After creating a new business continuity tool through a thesis project, NFS Group have contracted me for work in emergency preparedness planning that has seen me responsible for amending and creating documentation for businesses in Helsinki. I have also been undertaking training in CAD drawing software which enables me to edit and create new schematics to ensure regulatory compliance.

Working with the team to review GDPR compliance and develop information security processes. Educating the departments on their responsibilities concerning information and creating a knowledge database for continuous development. Office tasks like digitization of documentation, organization of the office and any other administrative tasks given to me by the team were also part of my daily tasks.

As sales support, I was responsible for tracking sales leads and handling administrative work with the team. this included managing and creating accounts, coordinating with the team to create effective action for generating quality work and nurturing clients by aiding them through the sales process.

I worked as a chef and customer service worker for Boneless. My responsibilities while working were mostly in customer service, cooking, cleaning and inventory management. I was also helping collaborate with the management of the shared restaurant area and training of team coordinated service. I was offered a management position that I unfortunately had to turn down due to my commitments to university. I enjoyed my time with Boneless a great deal and hope to work with the team again some day.

After arriving in Finland I was able to find a job with Fafa's who quickly saw potential from my experience in hospitality and asked that I manage the restaurant in Kallio. At the time being as popular as it was, the Kallio location gave me many challenges both in the business operation and in team management. I feel that in my time there I not only worked hard to meet the targets that were made between head management and I but I also created a good atmosphere for working. The team worked with mutual respect and fought for each other and gratefully they worked with me to develop lasting change that made us one of the top operating restaurants at that time. This position was integral to my development and showed me what working in Finland was like.
