In 2005 Mark took a year off from Consulting and accepted the challenge of the role as IT Manager for a residential Construction Subcontracting firm. He spent a little over a year with the firm before returning to Consulting and was able to accomplish several important goals including: reduction in hardware/software costs, implementation of a Disaster Recovery plan, system performance upgrades (including a Citrix migration), Migration of Blackberry Enterprise to Good (PDA based), and implementation of a SQL based Document Imaging package to streamline several business processes.

Mark began as a workstation specialist and quickly took on additional responsibilities and moved into Server implementations and network integration. Over time he took on a senior role and became lead consultant at CTC’s largest clients. During his final year with CTC was frequently called upon to act in the role of Sales Consultant, which required meeting with executives and business stakeholders to extract needs, develop a solution, and project plan for implementation.
