• Delivered high quality financial reporting for the City of London Pension Fund with a net asset value of circa £1.2bn. The Annual Reports in which I assisted lead to unqualified audit opinions and the publishing of the local authority accounts.• As the main dealer, I ensured that the treasury management activities for a portfolio of £950m were transacted within a rigorous risk management framework. During this time, the organisation never invested in a defaulting counterparty, borrowed at optimum timing with beneficial rates of interest, and was able to distribute an income yield on its investments which achieved a margin above the Bank of England’s base rate each year.• Maintained a high quality and strong financial control environment around the long term financial investments for the organisation’s endowment fund (£930m) and various charities (£1.0bn). As a result, Annual Returns and Financial Accounts were successfully lodged with the Charities Commission.• Ensured the Corporation’s banking services and reconciliations were carried out efficiently and timely. The efficacy of the treasury team's work is evidenced by the widely held reputation of the organisation via its customers and business partners.
