With more than 30 years experience at global investment advisory firms, I have developed a diverse skill set spanning many facets of the investment process. I have a deep understanding of the investment process from the Portfolio Manager’s desk all the way through to the custodian bank’s functionsI have spent more than 10 years managing global transitions for an advisor with over $100 billion in assets and possess an in-depth knowledge of portfolio trading, trade cost analytics, and risk management throughout the execution process. I have expertise in electronic execution and single stock trading in the US, Canada and Latin America across the liquidity spectrum and both equity and commodity futures trading.Prior to my trading role, I was a Controller, responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial statements while working closely with internal and external auditors. I worked as manager of a team responsible for providing portfolio performance, attribution and risk characteristics as well as oversight to the preparation of client materials. I also served as a supervisor on a client implementation team, with responsibilities including, passive management of client model portfolios, new client integrations and portfolio modeling. Over the course of my 25-year career, I've worked in or closely with all major functional departments within an Investment Management business.I am an effective communicator across all levels of an organization and have experience training and developing employees. I have years of Project Management experience including Six Sigma training and accreditation and have completed several management training programs at GE’s Management Development Institute. I have partnered with Risk and Compliance teams to develop detailed policies and procedures and worked with Technology teams to lead the development and implementation of new systems and software.
