Selected to lead the operations consolidation strategy of the Chicago and Libertyville facilities and to manage the dynamics of two workforces coming together to create a unified, experienced lean workforce of 500 employees producing $200 million in revenues.• Led a team of direct reports that included 3 Operations Directors, Controller, Director HR, Manager of Quality and Director of Global Tooling. Worked closely with sales and customer service to meet customer needs. • Implemented Lean Manufacturing throughout the entire operation, reducing set-up times by 50%, inventories by 40% and lead times by 33%.• Introduced Lean Manufacturing techniques such as Kaizen and other continuous improvement programs that increased profit margins and reduced labor costs

Promoted to lead a 200+ hourly and salaried workforce. Department became what was considered to be the most productive of all Tempel locations. Implemented standard work practices and drove improvements in scrap, productivity, on-time-delivery and quality.

Responsibilities expanded to include the logistics team in addition to production control. Member of a 4 person software committee that designed and implemented an enterprise software package that was commended for flawless implementation by the COO. Key project team member that successfully transitioned $25 million of business from one of the world’s largest in house stamping facilities.
