Hr Business Partner - South

Reason for Departure:When evaluating my decision to depart from my position as HRBP - South position, it's essential to note that although I greatly enjoyed the role and had / have great respect and affirmation for the brand, the role did not align with the expectations set during the recruitment process and in fullness was more junior than my previous roles and expectations I had of this role. Despite my brief successful & insightful tenure with PureGym, it became evident that the job responsibilities differed from what was initially communicated, leading to a misalignment between the role I was completing Vs what was anticipated. Consequently, I made the decision to seek opportunities that better matched my professional capability, objectives and professional developmental needs, and closer aligned to the skills and strategic level I wished to be operating at. This subsequently led to my departure from PureGym after securing a Senior HRBP role.

Oct 2022 - Feb 2023

Human Resources Business Partner

London, England, United Kingdom

Reason for Departure:During the unprecedented challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, the company underwent restructuring initiatives shortly after my joining when lockdowns were being reconsidered following the reopening of many businesses during the summer of 2020, the restructuring was aimed at mitigating the financial impact on the organisation and aimed at pursuing long-term sustainability for the company. Regrettably, as part of these necessary measures, my role was made redundant. Despite my dedication and contributions to the organisation, the circumstances surrounding the global health crisis necessitated workforce adjustments beyond individual control. As a result, I found and moved into pastures new where I continued to apply my skills and expertise in a meaningful capacity in a new national role aligned to my professional development.
