Mark A. BuczynskiVice President of MarketingVice President of Marketing Mark Buczynski joined BitArmor Systems in 2004. He led the company’s marketing, product strategy, product management and strategic partnering efforts. Buczynski brings with him more than 25 years of marketing and engineering experience in the high tech industry. He began his career in the United States Air Force, working as an analyst within the Electronic Security Service and gaining invaluable insights into the intelligence community. He went on to apply his expertise to a variety of technical engineering positions in data processing, mainframe systems and networks, storage servers, storage networking, network design, and signal intelligence. Buczynski worked as an award-winning consultant, advising Fortune 500 companies, the Department of Defense, and other federal agencies on mission-critical networks and systems focused on disaster recovery, storage networking, and network design. Recently, he has applied his technical and executive know-how to lead a number of high tech companies in crafting and implementing successful marketing strategies, for both internal and external consumption. At a data storage company and another storage networking company, Buczynski’s guidance of marketing strategy, product positioning, and launch coordination resulted in highly successful market entry and subsequent acquisition of both companies by their main competitors, Cisco Systems and Network Appliance respectively. Buczynski has authored numerous articles and white papers, and has held additional marketing and technical positions with Marconi Federal plc., MCI, EDS, Ford Aerospace, and NASA. Most recently, Buczynski held executive positions with a Transportation Management concern and various consulting positions.He lives in his native Pittsburgh, PA.
