We bought a medical orthopedic devices company in 2019 that has a significant opportunity to grow. The company fills a need for surgical centers and hospitals eager to decrease operating costs. Surgeons that have used the tools say they are what they need and have the quality they expect but at a lower cost. We see a big opportunity in the surgery centers and have been expanding business with these customers. Our tools are disposal after one use, and we have been able to maintain repeat customers. As a leader, my people say that I’m collaborative, listen, and I admit I don’t know everything. I encourage others to contribute ideas and I learn from my team. I am decisive and actively reward my team members for their hard work and productivity.
