I have over 35 years’ experience within the sales environment covering internal, retail, trade and B2B disciplines. After the completion of my Business Studies and Marketing Degree I worked in the Motor Industry, initially for manufacturers, before moving into the retail side, eventually becoming Dealer Principle running a Fiat Franchise from 1993. Since 2015 I have worked within the Rail sector selling a diverse range of products including enclosures, low voltage power distribution and signalling solutions, signalman's panels and wiring services. During this time I have transferred my experience and skill set and applied it to the B2B environment dealing with Tier 1-3 businesses. In 2018 my role was expanded to encompass Highways dealing with National Highways, Welsh Government, Scottish Assembly as well as multiple contractors. During my time within the Rail and Highways I have adapted and acquired a new skills set including:- attaining or exceeding multi-million pound annual targets- excellent knowledge of rail power and signalling markets- good knowledge of Highways market- negotiating and selling to large businesses- managing and maintaining corporate accounts - finding new opportunities and winning these contracts- working with and exceeding KPIs- project management
