Act as resource for the energy portion of Seven Generations Ahead (SGA)'s PlanItGreen Initiative. Develop education, outreach, strategic planning and partnership building for SGA in to create a market for Community Solar (up to two megawatts (MW) capacity), Utility-scale solar and Municipal Aggregation for solar and wind power(over 2 MW capacity) initially for Oak Park and River Forest communities, to be expanded into West Side of Chicago, western suburbs of Cook County and elsewhere in Northern Illinois. The goals are to take advantage of recently enacted Future Energy Jobs Bill and position Oak Park and River Forest to consider becoming 100% renewable energy sourced electricity communities.
