Mark started his vacuum & pump career back in 1994 as a stock controller under the watchful eye of his father, Brian Burn. Like a duck to water, Mark absorbed the vacuum and pump technical industry and quickly moved through the ranks of Sales Representative, National Sales Manager, Sales Director and to where he is seated today as the Managing Director of Air & Vacuum Technologies Pty Ltd.Mark has collaborated with top end manufacturers in the industry and concluded sole agency throughout Africa.If you catch Mark outside of his working day, you will undoubtedly find him on his bicycle – he just never stops “pumping” the pedals. With thousands upon thousands of km’s under his belt, some of his highlights are the completion of 3 x 94.7 cycle challenges and 8 x Cape Town Cycle Tours. Last year a bucket list tick, the Sani2C, which takes you from the Sani pass to Scottburgh, a 265Km ride over 3 days, coming 5th in the main event in the individuals category on his 1st attempt.As the Managing Director of Air & Vacuum Technology, Mark ensures that the organisation provides value to our clients, through supplying, servicing and repairing, the equipment listed below, to run their production plants and laboratories efficiently.
