I was Born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. And despite that I am from USDA grade choice parents, I was still the guy in the back of the classroom wanting to run the opaque projector. But far too shy to actually act upon it.Fast forward 300 years. I hitchhiked to Denver, got a job in a nightclub, then quickly moved from topnotch busboy to working with the band "Air Supply" while they were on tour. Fast forward yet another 300 years and I find myself at with a spiffy new digital camera after a multiple year hiatus from photography while I waited for the digital realm to shake itself out and produce a camera that was better or at least equal to film. Film is cool, don't get me wrong, just not as free as digital. I still have my original Canon that I bought with money made from building trails in the summer in Evergreen Colorado.I currently reside in the Roaring Fork Valley town of Carbondale Colorado with my children. I’m a Cancer; enjoy walks in the moonlight, throwing pebbles in the river, working on my archery skills and keeping honey bees. In addition to my awesome still photographic skills. I volunteer regularly for my local arts council and sustainable agriculture outfit. Cause we all need pretty things, quality food, and when the apocalypse happens next week, I’ll be neck deep in organic squash and stilling moonshine by night. All the while documenting the progress or lack thereof the human condition.

Chief Chocolate MakerPollinator Chocolate Nov 2019 - PresentCarbondale, Colorado, United StatesThere’s so much that contributes to the unique flavor of each Pollinator Chocolate bar: The location, soil, and climate where the beans are grown, the roasting, the grinding, the tempering, and more. Single-origin, only two ingredients and organic when possible. It was a bean, now it’s a bar.Pollinator Chocolate Company is dedicated to creating the finest craft chocolate you’ve tasted while causing minimal environmental impact and waste. We use compostable and recyclable packaging and shipping materials when possible. In my search for the best raw materials, I constantly experiment with different single-origin beans from all over the world. This bean-to-bar process takes at least 3-4 days and involves sorting, roasting, winnowing, melanging and finally molding. It’s an involved and hands-on process from start to finish, driven by my own personal love of unique and delicious chocolate. As I discover new flavors I enjoy I’ll add them to the bars I create and pass them along to you. -
