From a young age I was immersed in team sports and when given opportunities, strived with leadership, responsibility, and ability to effectively collaborate with others in order for the team to reach success. In the near future, once graduating with a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University, I am motivated to bring not only skills developed from my degree, but what I experienced throughout my many internships recently. In my final year of university, I was fortunate to develop and demonstrate my tactical and analytical knowledge of the game of AFL with the AFLW and VFL Gold Coast Suns 2021 teams in a season long internship. My university placement at Science of Fitness allowed me to establish my leadership and coaching abilities, instructing group classes as large as 25 clients. Along with the 140+ hours with Science of Fitness, my certification III and IV in fitness means that I also have completed a further 60 hours to gain accreditation as a qualified personal trainer. My time with Queensland Cricket (2015), validates my versatility to coach or analyse a wide variety of both team and individual sports. This coaching versatility is further endorsed through my High Distinction in the Sports Coaching course throughout my degree. Throughout my degree I have obtained further knowledge in biomechanics, clinical exercise testing, sport psychology, big data analytics in sport, sport media, exercise programming and prescription and exercise sports nutrition.
