I have been an Ontario Provincial Police officer since January 2003. I have worked at general law enforcement detachments in Central and North West Regions. I spent four years as a full-time instructor for the Provincial Police Academy in NWR. Since February 2014, I have been a member of the Highway Safety Division Burlington/Niagara cluster detachment. During that time I have been selected for the 2IC position on my platoons.From June 2015 to October 2018 I was member of the Emergency Response Team. I held an additional ERT role as part of the instructional cadre. I instructed on firearms, use of force and some tactical training. I have a full understanding of Containment, Search & Rescue, Public Order, Canine Back-up, Dignitary/Witness Protection, Prisoner Escorts, Evidence Searches and Warrant Service operational calls.I am a proven team player and enjoy taking on a leadership role when required. I tackle the challenges of policing by maintaining a high level of physical and mental readiness through continued education and a healthy lifestyle.
