I have previously served as COO of Axiom Care in Phoenix, and on the four-person Executive Leadership team that guided the company, and as the Chief Clinical Officer of CrossRoads of Southern Nevada. CrossRoads cares for Las Vegas residents suffering from substance abuse and mental health struggles. I also served as the Chief Clinical Officer / Chief Program Officer at A Better Today Recovery Services (ABT), which treats Substance Abuse problems at its 100 bed facilities. I was responsible for the set of tasks that typically falls on the COO of a company, and I oversee all areas of the organization other than Finance and Sales/Marketing. Approximately 165 staffers rolled up to me, and that might explain the dark circles under my eyes!Additionally, I have specialized in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders since 1994. After working at Bio-Behavioral Psychiatry for 4 years (working almost exclusively with OCD patients), I opened my own private practice while also running the Psychology department at an inpatient hospital and teaching graduate level courses at Hofstra University and Fordham University. I later became the Associate Director of Psychiatry Residency Training at North General Hospital (a Mt. Sinai program) in New York and served as the only Psychologist in the country to hold this position.
