Member, Cultural Property Advisory Committee
Washington, District Of Columbia, United States
Presidential appointment to committee in support of U.S. efforts to protect and preserve global cultural heritage, primarily through bi-lateral cultural property agreements. These agreements are designed to promote good stewardship of cultural property and sites, and to foster diplomacy, economic development, and good governance in partner countries, while denying critical financing to terrorist organizations and other criminal networks that engage in looting, pillaging and the illicit trade of items with archaeological or ethnological significance.
