In January,2024 I started employment with withYOU as a Practice Development Manager-Homelessness and Trauma Informed Practice across Edinburgh/Lothians.I remain a Change Lead in the All in For Change Team as i continue to drive lived and professional experience of homelessness in co-production to end homelessness.I am also fully engaged in the Wheatley Group Scrutiny Panel and their associated thematic groups in service delivery and developmentCPD- I have just completed my 7th upskilling course at Glasgow University,the latest being on Homelessness as I love these flexible,10 week, post-grad learning opportunities.I am a highly experienced and qualified social work practitioner and Team Leader in the field of statutory Children and Families. I specialise in Child Protection and Adult Protection in statutory area team settings. I am an experienced Social Work Practice Educator/Teacher committed to continuous professional development and life – long learning .I am also CIPD qualified in Learning & Development and continually seeking to upskill and apply shared experiential learning.I was privileged to be an Associate with Homeless Network Scotland and a member of GHIFT- Glasgow Homeless Involvement and Feedback Team from October 2021 to Jan 2024.I was fully engaged in the Glasgow Alliance to End Homelessness Leadership Team (ALT) and their People Delivery Team and Service Design Team. Between 2019 to Jan 2024, I co- produced Turning Point Scotland's volunteer mentoring service with FHOSS. I enjoyed this volunteering role, mentoring both the mentors and mentees and developing person centred, inclusive, creative mentoring platforms.I founded Glasgow's Housing Rights Defenders Group in 2020 (via Shelter Scotland).
