He was then promoted to Area Manager, relocating to the South East where he turned the business to rank in the National Top Five Areas in less than a year.As a Director at Halifax, he improved the performance of multiple areas nationally dealing customer bases in excess of a million customers while also managing the local arrangements for the merger of HBOS/Lloyds: one of the largest banking changes in history. He helped spread Best Practice for the merger across the Group by serving on a national cohort. Mark was also accountable for management of banking risk, service measures and annual £multimillion budgets.In Early 2016 Mark Launched a Bar and Restaurant called Ale Rooms, turning a disused undertakers into a successful bar.
