I have a knack for recognizing and filling underserved consumer needs and a passion for conceptualizing and building digital-first brands. I assemble a purpose-driven, dedicated team and "know what I don't know," - so I hire a smart, lean team to fill the gaps, then bring in experts, consultants, and vendor/partners to create the magic supporting to support our team.Scent Fill is my second bootstrapped e-commerce business without external funding. We'll eventually need a partner with CPG know-how to accelerate getting to the next level. In 2016, I recognized that the convenience of plug-in air fresheners come with a troubling characteristic: controversial, synthetic, and potentially harmful ingredients. After realizing store-bought products had no 100% natural options, I recognized a missing gap in the marketplace with consumers requiring natural, plant-based alternatives to their synthetic counterparts. I launched Scentfill.com in 2017 and went all-in, obsessing over every detail, quality, and improvement in customer experience. I enjoy time with family, hiking the Appalachian Trail, skiing in Colorado, concert festivals, and road trips. I am a graduate of the University of South Florid. My “college experience” included simultaneously working full-time in straight commission sales and a part-time job waiting tables on the weekend to pay my own way. This experience helped me create the relentless work ethic that keeps me going today.
