Senior Vice President Of Development
Current• Continually evaluate the development potential of new and existing projects, performing and participating in the review of alternative planning and engineering concepts for consideration by senior management.• Prepare and update various forms of detailed analysis for new and existing projects including development suitability, anticipating land use approvals requirements, time frames for achievement of approvals, estimated costs for engineering, planning and other consultant fees, generation and review of site improvements, cost estimations and alternative development schemes to minimize costs and participation with senior staff member in pro forma spreadsheet analysis.• Oversee land use approvals for new and existing projects, participating in the evaluation and selection of consultants for the execution of various stages of development approvals work. • Direct all details related to the approvals program, scheduling and strategy development and implementation.• Maintain open lines of communication with various regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction over all aspects of land use approvals including various state, county and municipal Planning, Zoning and Community Development departments, state agencies, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, NYSDEC and federal agencies.• Provide expert-level planning testimony at local hearings as needed to help keep project moving forward.• Work in collaboration with field construction personnel to ensure the efficient implementation of intended designs and to resolve outstanding project issues.• Partner with municipal representatives, field personnel, homeowner associations and contractors to accelerate the transition of ownership of common elements as needed. • Play a key role in strategic planning activities with the senior management team and the preparation of reports to increase the effectiveness of the process.
